Here’s my take:
I’m sure there are linguistic barriers. Many of HeyUp Community’s users are Spanish speaking, and I’m sure some of the staff members from SwitchBot will likely feel more comfortable speaking in Mandarin.
With that in mind, my suggestion is to do it this way:
- You post a thread inviting users to share their questions to the SwitchBot team. This was, you can review them, select the ones that make sense, translate them and share them with the SwitchBot team.
- You share the questions with SwitchBot so that they work on the replies.
- You then post a new thread with the chosen questions and the replies.
If you want to make it more exciting, you can add a giveaway element to it, for example:
- Announce that you’ll be giving small SwitchBot prizes among the best questions, e.g. fingerbot
- Link this activity with a SwitchBot tryout and tell users that if they engage in this thread, their chances of being selected are increased.
Just a couple of ideas. 😉
