Leaker @MysteryLupin has just revealed the renderings of the Apple PowerBeats Pro 2, Let’s take a closer look at this new product.
Apple has introduced some innovative features to the PowerBeats Pro 2, including a heart rate monitoring function. This feature uses an optical sensor that lights up over 100 times per second to track blood flow in the ear. It is designed for training purposes and will not be enabled by default.
The PowerBeats Pro 2 is equipped with the Apple H2 chip to process the data generated by the heart rate monitoring. Each earbud offers up to 10 hours of battery life, and with the charging case, the total battery life can reach 45 hours.
Thanks to the H2 chip, the PowerBeats Pro 2 also features adaptive equalizers, active noise cancellation (ANC), and a transparency mode. For better call quality, each earbud includes the same three-microphone design as the Apple AirPods Pro 2. The headphones can be controlled via voice commands or hardware buttons for volume control.
On the software side, iPhone users can enjoy features like one-tap pairing, automatic switching, Siri, and Find My functionality. Android users can also access heart rate monitoring through the Beats app, along with customizable controls, battery status widgets, and the “Find My Beats” feature.
The new Apple PowerBeats Pro 2 is expected to be released in the coming weeks. It will be available in multiple colors, including Quick Sand, Electric Orange, Hyper Purple, and Jetz Black. The official recommended retail price in Europe is €299.95
