Hi everyone! As I’m sure many have anxiously waited, the day finally came for the revealing of the iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max

and the iPhone 15/15 Plus

One of the biggest changes, that has everyone talking, is the switch over to USB C charging. Better late than never I guess. Are you on board with the switch?

As a current android user, I have been curious about the iPhone lineup recently but I still can’t justify spending $1,000+ on a cell phone.

Anyway, let’s all share our thoughts here on this new lineup!

DarkPikaJP yeah, really just an iterative update again. The titanium is cool, and usb-c is really just bare minimum these days lol, especially since they didn’t enable any faster charging on it. Still just the 20W.

Absolutely not worth 1K or even 800 honestly. No other $800 phone is as poorly specced as the iPhone lol.

Not much changes from 14 to 15 other than the charging port which they were forced to implement.

Personally, I’ve been excited for the new lineup. I’m planning on upgrading to an iPhone 15 Pro from an iPhone 11. There’s actually more improvements to the lineup than one might think, but it is somewhat modest.

The iPhone 15/15 Plus features: an updated design (Dynamic Island, matte finish, new colors), an improved processor, an improved “Ultra Wideband” chip, a brighter display, a souped up camera with a 48 MP sensor over the previous 12 MP sensor, and a USB-C port (USB 2 functionality).

The iPhone 15 Pro/15 Pro Max features: a titanium chassis, an action button, a USB-C port (USB 3 functionality), an improved processor, an improved “Ultra Wideband” chip, as well as camera improvements and features such as the improved optical zoom on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

ok so, my mother had a iphone 11, and i made her buy the 15, it seems like a decent upgrade.

The iPhone 15 is another modification of the iphone 12 for 5 years apple has not produced anything new, and the prices are simply cosmic

I have a 15 Pro Max. Its very nice, but not groundbreaking in any way. Its my daily use phone.

I’m currently owning a Samsung S22 Ultra but planning to take the 16 Pro Max/Ultra next year! I was born as a Blackberry user, had Nexus for one year and iPhones for many years later.

The next year I wanna go back to Apple but I will have to buy again the Apple ecosystem rotating around the iPhone (I’ve sold both the Apple Watch and the AirPods) 😅

BeatriceC Wow! You have a very well rounded experience with technology! 😄 You must be a great unbiased or neutral person. Do you miss the BlackBerry days at all?

DarkPikaJP I had it a long time ago, I would have kept it but someone stole it from me…sad story I left it on a tray at a McDonald on a Saturday evening in a mall and when I came back it was gone 😅😅😅

The thing I liked the most was that it had a real open OS for that time and coming from a Blackberry it was such a newness!

Jado yeah, if I think about the times when I had it the keyboard was definitely its coolest thing, like nothing so practical and useful seen before on a phone at those times.

Moreover, the mail/messaging system was pretty much well made ✌️

Even as a 13 Pro Max use, reviewing the 15 Pro Max, not much has changed… the x5 telephoto is amazing, the overall feel in the hand changed too, but nothing crucial…
