Thanks Heyep for providing me with Oladance wearable stereo earbuds, I have tried it for a week. This is my first time trying open style earbuds. hence this is my review.
Let’s start with the design. when i first see the product pictures in the website, i thought the earbuds case is big like a glasses case, the actual size is small and can easily put into most pockets, but if compare to most earbuds cases, it is about 3 times of size, and the case don’t have extra battery, you need to connect to power point while charging. my suggestion the case should provide at least battery for one-time charging. one good feature is that this case has magnets to keep the earbuds in place.
Size compare with other earbuds
The outer earbuds are made of plastic and touch control has no mechanical buttons. The inner earbuds are made of soft silicone. The longest time I have been using these earbuds is about 5 hours, and I still can always feel there are earbuds in my ears but they did not cause any discomfort. unlike many in-ear earbuds can cause discomfort. after first time pairing with your device everything time you just open the case it will auto paired in about 2-3 seconds
at 100% full battery, I tried to use it at volume 90% and I got 11 hours 25 minutes in total from 4 separate uses. I have tried to aggressively shake my head and the earbuds stay in place. but don’t stand upside down or backflips. These are gone and fall off.
The earbuds are IPX 4 which provide splash and sweat resistance. I have tried to wear it during jogging with little rain and it is still in good condition, but keep it in mind, you can not submerge it in water. The earbuds are running bluetooth 5.2, hence the latency is very minimum, at my testing watching videos is ok. but if you use it for gaming then the latency is quite obvious.
With 16.2 millimeter driver, the sound quality projected is balanced and clear, bass, treble, mid is all there, but surely is not the top one. I also test to use it to make a phone conversation and both of us can hear each other clearly without any issues.
To me these earbuds are for people who like to do outdoor activities like jogging, cycling etc. because you still can hear the surroundings clearly to maintain a certain level of awareness. and give you a balanced audio at the same time.
For the retail price at USD$179, I think it is a bit high, compared to other brands in the market, with similar specs. I will recommend people this Oladance earbuds if the retail price at USD$149
