Samsung as big brand has always provided its products in different categories and capabilities especially when it comes to phones, low end, midrange and high end phones. I have a Samsung A23 for 2 years now as a heavy gamer and I’m happy to share my experience.
The device operates with a snapdragon 680 4G processor, 6gb ram and 128gb storage including a micro sd slot. A LCD 90Hz 6.6 inch display, 5000mAh battery capacity and wired charging at 25w. Camera going at 50mp main cam, 5mp ultra wide, 2mp on macro and depth. Selfi camera tuning 8mp, both the rare and selfie camera having 1080p at 30fps video recording. The device weighing 195 grams.
According to research, this device hits upto 297000 antutu, gigbench upto 1600 and gfxbench going at 6.7 fps.
- PERFORMANCE
As gamer, the phone is really poor. Running my game(PUBG) at 30fps max, on the lowest and only supported graphics. Despite having low gaming specs, it still gets frame drops upto 9fps during gaming sessions. It has poor bullet tracking and connection, not forgetting its constant rendering. Unfortunately I do not have recordings, this is due to the fact that the device overheat and crush if i try to do so. The phone is only good if you are gaming for enjoyment, it is not capable of professional gaming.
This device is perfect for daily usage, fast response through the apps and Internet, lag free unless it is running out of storage. Storage is not it make you worry, 128gb plus and sd card if you need more storage.
- CAMERA
The camera is mid, the pictures above mostly had bad lighting. The quality is not high nor low, it is just good/normal. It has quite many customisation settings to however you want it, note that every setting improves camera quality according to the environment you in. For I say this device camera capabilities do not encourage professional photography.
- DESIGN
I really like the back view of this phone, the quad camera arrangement and it’s smooth, shiny design. Whereas the front is not bad but moderate, with a visible drop selfie camera. It is really comfortable in hand. There is not much to interpret about the design since it is very much simple.
- PACKAGE DETAILS
A fast charger type C cable and brick. Sim ejector. Manual and the device it self.
My conclusion is, if you want an affordable but good device for daily usage, the Samsung galaxy A23 is recomendable. But if you intend to use it for any form of profession, it is not recommended. This device is definitely a in the midrange category of the brand.
