I received this item for my 6 year old granddaughter. At first we wasn’t really sure how it worked. We discovered that when my granddaughter speaks she must push the bright yellow light to get a response.Once we.got over that my granddaughter was full of excitement. She could ask it a general question and get a proper response. They even sang songs together with Bibblepal leading! This can be used.in so many ways! It was really enjoyed while she waited for her siblings to get home and she wanted a play buddy. They talked for hours, I was so surprised at how well it understand what was being said to it.
