I’ve been using the OWS Pro consistently for a couple of weeks, mostly paired with my laptop and iPhone 14 Pro. I faced some pairing issues with the iPhone, but the multipoint connectivity feature works once everything is set up.

✅ Battery & Connectivity
The battery life is outstanding—16 h per bud, and a whopping 58 h total with the charging case. Plus, you can pair them with two devices simultaneously, switching seamlessly between your phone and laptop.
🔊 Sound Quality & Mics
Audio is solid but not class-leading. There’s a nice bass boost and decent clarity, though it’s not on par with premium ANC earbuds. I couldn’t fine-tune the sound because the companion app isn’t available in Italy. The microphones also perform below expectations. On calls or recordings, voices often sound distant and wind noise (especially while biking) is captured and poorly filtered, making conversations frustrating in outdoor environments. More than that, I’ve tried listening to podcasts while commuting on my bicycle and felt like the wind noise was amplified (like if bad noise cancellation was going on).

🎧 Comfort & Design
The open-ear design is the main draw: is safe and situationally aware but it also creates privacy issues. However, after a few hours, I felt some discomfort in my ears, which didn’t happen with the original OWS.
The chrome finish on the unit I received wasn’t to my taste. I did appreciate the more compact charging case and the use of physical buttons instead of touch controls.

The case with the headset now only weights 104 g; on the right the OWS Pro vs the first OWS.
⚙️ Controls & App
I prefer the physical buttons but I had a hard time dealing with them because the provided instructions were only in Chinese.
The app itself is absent in Italy and has a 2.5★ rating (last updated on Feb ’24) so the support is not too promising. You get SBC only (no AAC/aptX)
🚿 Durability & Extras
It’s IPX4 rated—good for sweat and light splashes. I liked the idea of a “focus mode” but I could not test it.
👎 My Issues
- App limitations and no EQ controls on iOS
- Average audio quality
- Slight discomfort over long sessions
- Chrome finish isn’t personal taste

🎯 Verdict
Despite its impressive battery life and safe open-ear format, the Oladance OWS Pro feels overpriced and underwhelming. Between the lack of app support, poor mic, and wind handling, discomfort after long wear, and disappointing sound quality, it’s hard to recommend this set with its $230 price.
