Let’s talk media/photo,video storage!

I currently use Google photos and while I really like the integrative search, map and face recognition, I have been thinking about trying something else, in effort to de-google. An example would be if I ever switched to iPhone, would Apple Photos be a suitable replacement🤔

Anyway, which do you use and why?

Yo lo suyo usando bien, no tengo tantos problemas con el, tal vez el único problema que tenga es que a veces de la nada me duplica fotos jaja es lo único 😅

DarkPikaJP pues yo uso Google foto,no se, probablemente en cada dispositivo o marca como vivo,y redmi(ejemplo) tienen sus galerías nativas, pero como dice Lili, pues teóricamente está más completo que cualquier aplicación de fotos, aunque está ya viene en los dispositivos como aplicación nativa🤷💭🙊

DarkPikaJP nunca eh usado algún otro servicio que no sea Google fotos, y como dice @Lili_Anderson puede ser por el simple hecho de que se siente muy completo, intuitivo y que mas que uso Android así que el mover mi cuenta de un dispositivo a otro también es sencillo , sin mencionar que el precio que maneja por los paquetes de almacenamiento es increíblemente económico ( al menos aquí en México) quizá si algún día me cambio a Apple pruebe Apple photos pero siento que al final terminaría regresando a Google por el simple hecho de comodidad

Pero no sabía eso :0, aunque si he visto uno que otro usa como Google fotos o otros, aunque por algún razón en Gmail me está diciendo que tengo insuficiente espacio por alguna razón, y según lo ocupa Google fotos pero nadamas a lo mucho es 1 o 2gb 🤔, así que ni idea pero de igual manera me gusta usarlo

Badia sounds like old emails or files might be taking up storage. It is unfortunate that even Google Drive shares the same storage pool.

Chrome also has a translate option in the three-dot menu xD

ziurzenemijnaithan I think as we get further along with technology, a lot of Android devices, like mine for example, are using Google photos as the native media app.
