DJI announced via its official public account that its first robotic vacuum cleaner will be officially released at 8 p.m. Beijing time on August 6.
It is reported that DJI has been developing a robotic vacuum cleaner for over four years, and the upcoming product is an integrated sweeping and mopping robot. Sources indicated that DJI aims to be a “spatial intelligence explorer,” not only in aerial space but also in ground space. Although DJI has achieved great success with drones, drones are not mass-market products. DJI has accumulated years of experience in technologies such as visual and obstacle-avoidance sensors, algorithms, and path planning. DJI hopes to bring these technologies to more consumers by entering the robotic vacuum cleaner market.
