At the time this hub was very useful to me because it allowed me to insert micro SD cards and store movies on them.

But since I bought the hub on Aliexpress a while ago, it stopped receiving signal and died so it became my #TechGraveyard

HeyupConecta wow, I’m just realizing how disposable tech has become.

I think I don’t have any tech here older than my OnePlus One, that I turned into a wall frame.

Actually… I do. A HTC ChaCha that I disassembled for the same purpose.

Menguelez I saw a YouTube video the other day about people reviving them for emulation. It’s now incredibly easy to mod them and bring a whole lot of fun to them again.

seriousjoker Thanks! I have quite a few disassembled devices to make these frames. Mostly OnePlus, but also a Nexus 5, and those parts I shared above. The one you I shared was a design I bought, so I only had to glue the parts. I started designing one for the OnePlus Watch, but since I’m no designer, it’s very time consuming, so I stopped. I need to ask a friend for help so I can hang all of them in my office.

I actually have a collection of old GSM phones and I was looking for my mechanical calculator (which apparently my son hid somewhere… yes he loves it)

So I think my old projector could be a good fit
