Once again, thanks to HeyUp for letting me tryout this product and thanks for all the help. My review is so late because i had some problems with the first unit of the watch i received (namely: the battery wouldn’t hold a charge, AT ALL) but the customer service helped me greatly and i was able to get a new watch that, this time, works perfectly.
UNBOXING
https://youtu.be/uP-EWl9iCNs
As always, this is my video of the unboxing. The experience is exaclty the same as with the Buds, same great packaging, straight to the point and space efficient. Nothing else to say. In the box you can find the watch, the watch band and the usb charger, together with some paperwork.
DESIGN
Is is clearly apple watch inspired, but i like it. Mine has an aluminium construction and it is grey in colour, except the sensor area which is made out of plastic (for reference, the sensor area of my series 4 apple watch is made out of ceramic). Not a bad design, the screen is big but i don’t like the fact that it is not homogenous to the corners of the watch case.
DISPLAY, UI and UX, FUNCTIONS
The display is OLED and high quality, especially for the price. As i said, unfortunately it does not come with rounded corners that match the exact radius of the watch case corners, but with a black watchface this problem is kind of absent. It appears though with coloured or grey/white watchface, and the effect is not good. The watch is pretty easy to use and intuitive:
scrolling to left or right from the watch face you get a carousel of useful apps: activity monitor (in the exact ring pattern the apple watch uses), heart rate measurement, weather forecast, sleep tracking info and a dialer with the option to see recent calls
scrolling from the top of the screen brings up a quick setting page
scrolling from the bottom bring up the notification center
pressing the side button (the only phisical button on the watch) brings up the app drawer with all the preinstalled app.
The app list is massive: other than the already cited app, there’s the exercise app, notes app, O2 blood saturation app, stress measurement app, music app (it uses bluetooth), photo shutter app (once again using bluetooth), calculator, timer, alarm, flashlight and settings. Also a useful app to ping your phone when you can’t find it. Only one caveat: these apps that depend on the phone only work when the CMF watch app is open in the background.
One great point is that you can have calls on the watch itself, the speaker is not that bad for calls and the microphone seems to work really well, from my test calls. It’s clever because it appears on the phone as a pair of headphones, so it streams the call via bluetooth to the watch, even though i use an iphone.
The sensor selection is nice: other than heart rate is also has an O2 saturation sensor which is pretty accurate, and also the sensors used for sports tracking are pretty accurate, not that dissimilar from my apple watch.
The only problem i have is that it is REALLY too big for my arm. It’s like a 47 mm watch, and it would have been nice to have a smaller one (like 42 mm).

BATTERY LIFE
Battery life is incredible in my testings it last almost 10 days using it as a regular watch and using all the features.
APP
The app is not great. It is made from a chinese company and not directly made by nothing, but it’s ok. It looks like a clone of many domestic smart appliance apps, but in the end, it works, and you don’t have to use it very often.
CONCLUSIONS This watch is great, especially for the price. Very good, i like almost everything about it, and i’d suggest it to everyone who wants a first smartwatch. It has no support for third party apps, but the selection of preinstalled apps is ok, and there’s also support for many other watchfaces downlodable from the phone app. Also the watchface designs is very good, minimal and very ‘00s remenescent. I give this product 4,5/5 stars
