HellBoi I think the Heyup community is diverse, with many nationalities and languages. We usually communicate in Spanish and English. This cultural diversity enriches the discussion, as each member contributes a little or a lot depending on their knowledge of technology and technological advancements. The important thing is to be willing to learn about technology and communicate ideas confidently and respectfully. The moderators do an excellent job regulating posts and informing new members about what to do. From my point of view, as time goes on, the community will grow even more, since it offers the opportunity to test technological products, phones, and gadgets for free. What I think can be improved:

Make the page a little more intuitive when receiving notifications, participation alerts, and the news feed.
Test computers more frequently.

HellBoi Pues me parece excelente la comunidad de Heyup, es muy diversa, inclusiva y abierta a escuchar diferentes puntos de vista. El buen usuario que entra acá aprende al mismo tiempo que comparte su conocimiento a través de post.

Lo único que si quisiera que se añadiera es como una carpeta para guardar borradores de posts, osea, hay usuarios que requieren de crear una reseña larga para un dispositivo que incluye mucho (como un celular o una consola) y pues vendría bien que los borradores de los posts o las reseñas se pudieran guardar, para poco a poco ir añadiendo hasta que la reseña ya esté lista, así como si tuvieras un trabajo de investigación en Google Docs o en Word y pues para que no se te olvide la información que acabas de recopilar, la vas anotando, así sucesivamente hasta que termines el trabajo. Así me gustaría que se pudieran hacer los posts o reseñas de tryout, esto debido a que para tu tener información y llenar una Review de un tryout requieres de unos cuantos días para probar un producto y sacar conclusiones.

HellBoi the first step would be getting rid of all the AI-generated content from the Community. It just makes it feel like everyone in here is following the path of least effort to try to snag prizes. Some even forget that using **this** to bold words, doesn’t work when you’re copy pasting straight from ChatGPT.

The use of em dashes (—)? Another dead giveaway of ChatGPT usage. It’s like people don’t even care.

FangedBasoon si es más que necesaria una función de este tipo, aveces uno escribiendo se puede equivocar, y borra todo lo que ha escrito. O en ciertos casos cuando se sale de la página, se pierde todo lo escrito. 😎👌

También sería genial, que para los teléfonos las notificaciones que llegan tuvieran un color distinto al gris, a veces no se vislumbra bien la notificación.

Oh they could add a translation feature for those who don’t speak a certain language and allow them to understand what is being said easier than having to do it manually. They could also point out an achievement section and have custom built achievement that have certain requirements to obtain or they can so it with the badges they have cause I honestly don’t know how you get any of them😅😂.

dsmonteiro My first language is Spanish 😎, so when I have to write in English, even though I write and speak it, I use a tool or two like Google Translate 🤣🤣🤣, especially if I’m in a hurry. 😵🤭

Many colleagues use AI because it’s easier to get results. The problem is that when they copy and paste, they don’t check for active links or incorrect words. It would be advisable for them to do some reading before writing the information the AI provides.

100% agree with what you just said, it’s only a problem when people just go to AI for a quick copy-paste.

dsmonteiro That’s right my friend, the issue isn’t using it, but abusing it, opying and pasting whatever it gives you, without first reading and analyzing. Seek out other sources; the idea of the community is to give our opinions based on our research and knowledge. There’s no point in overusing AI, as it’s a digital tool like any other.
