Hi everyone, it’s Adri!
I have ave to be honest: I really love this robot.
If you know me, you know I tested the first Dreame L10s Ultra years ago. It was my favorite. Testing this new Gen 3 version feels like a “second life” for me with this series. It feels like meeting an old friend again.
But there is a crazy difference. The first model cost €1,199 back in 2022. This new one is much better, but it only costs around €599. That is half the price!I tested it in my home to see if it is really that good. Here is what happened.

The “Arm” Reaches Out
What really surprised me is the side brush. It moves out like a small arm and reaches into corners where most robots usually fail. I have a railing at home that’s always hard to clean, and normally robots just skip that area, but this one actually managed to get in there properly. I also did my usual corn test and placed five pieces of corn under the kitchen cabinets. The robot used its little arm and picked up every single one. That genuinely impressed me.
Mopping is Faster Now
Do you remember the old model? When it tried to clean along the walls, it had to wiggle its whole body back and forth. It worked, but it was slow and a bit clumsy.
The new robot feels much smarter. Now the right mop just slides out to the side and cleans close to the wall by itself. It’s much faster and looks more natural when it moves.
One small tip from me is to set the robot in the app to clean carpets first. I think that works best. When it drives onto a carpet, it lifts the wet mops so the rug stays dry. The suction power is also on another level now, around 25,000 Pascal. My old robot only had about 5,300, so the difference is huge.
Does it Bump into Things?
The robot fits easily under my furniture. I watched it clean under the dining table and it moved very gently. It didn’t bump into the chair legs at all.
You do need to be a bit careful with small things though. Big items were no problem. It saw larger objects and toys without any issues. Very small things were harder. It didn’t notice a thin cable on the floor, and while it did see my socks, it still touched them a little.
So my advice is simple. Pick up socks and cables before you press start, and you’ll get the best result.
The Station is Easier to Clean
The charging station has some really nice updates. There is now a special tank just for floor cleaner. I use one that smells like tropical fruit, and it works very well.
The best part for me is that the station cleans itself. The bottom washes itself, so I don’t have to scrub it by hand anymore. I only rinse the tray with water once in a while, and that’s it.

Adri’s Final Thoughts
I am so happy I got to test this. It feels like my old favorite robot got a big upgrade

It is not perfect. It does not wash the mops with hot water like the very expensive models. But for €600, it is amazing. It works better than robots that used to cost €1,000.
What do you think? Would you buy it? Let me know!
