I’ve finally found a way to end the “dead battery” mess in my house. As a Kickstarter backer, I got my hands on the Ostation 2 Pro with 32 batteries, and it’s honestly one of the smartest things I own.
How It Works?
It’s like a small vending machine for batteries. You don’t need to place them in a special way or think about which side is up. You just drop the AA batteries in from the top, any way you want. The machine knows what to do and starts charging them by itself. When a battery is fully charged, it slowly slides down into a tray at the bottom, almost like a little waterfall. When you need a battery, you simply take one from the bottom.
No More Mistakes
The best part is how smart it is with mistakes. If you, or the kids, drop in a normal battery that can’t be charged, the Ostation notices it right away. It does not try to charge batteries that are wrong or broken. Instead, it moves those batteries to a separate side tray so you can throw them away. This means the bottom tray always has only good, fully working batteries ready to use.
Why I Love It?
With 32 batteries ready to use, I never have to search through messy drawers anymore. My kids’ toys, the remote controls, and the flashlights always have power, without stress or guessing.
