I’m Lydia from Magcubic, and I wanted to share one of our latest projector models with the community and get your honest thoughts and feedback.

We’ve been following Heyup for a while and really like how this community focuses on real user experience and honest Tryout reviews, so I thought it would be great to introduce our product here and hear your opinions.

The Magcubic HY450 MAX is a smart home projector designed for everyday entertainment use. It is built to make big-screen viewing simple and accessible without complicated setup.

1100 ANSI lumens brightness

It is designed for different real-life use cases such as:

💡 Why I’m sharing it here

We’re not just looking to promote the product — we’re genuinely interested in how real users and tech enthusiasts would evaluate it in everyday scenarios.

Since Heyup is a community built around Tryouts and honest feedback, I would really appreciate your thoughts on:

What matters most to you in a budget-friendly projector?
Would features like auto-focus and built-in smart OS make a difference in your daily use?
What would you expect from a product in this category?

The features I look the most are specs (starting with ANSI Lumens, native resolution), I look for auto-focus and automatic keystone as optional but they are not mandatory. Embedded streaming apps (Netflix in primis) and/or a open operative system like AndroidTV or GoogleTV, it’s instead one of the key features I would not go on without. Speaker quality and rated power are also a key feature as it is the noise the projector produce. Do I need to couple a soundbar or can it work standalone?
Finally I will look for the design, size, weight, and features such as an integrated tripod or a slot for a standard tripod and optionally an integrated battery (but it shall last 3 about hours) also power through USB (powerbank) it’s always good.
Clearly there is always the price to guide all evaluations.

That’s my general feedback.
Looking at the magiccube webpage I think it ticks them all off (but the battery). One single update you could make is you could make it “sexier” design-wise and colourwise; a big plastic white box isn’t exactly screaming quality.

La plena que gracias por el dato, porque ese Magcubic HY450 MAX es la salvación para armar el cine en casa barato ya que viene con todo incluido. Lo malo es que a veces el ventilador suena como avión y los parlantes son medio flojos, pero por ese precio y con Android 11 no se le puede pedir más al bicho.
