Olight ArkPro Ultra Review

I’ve tested alot of gadgets over the past couple years, and the ArkPro Ultra honestly feels like one of those products that immediately earns a permanent spot in your everyday carry.
First thing I noticed was the build quality. This thing feels super premium in-hand. The flat design is honestly way more practical than a traditional flashlight because it actually sits comfortably in your pocket instead of creating some giant awkward bulge. The matte black finish also fits perfectly with my all-black aesthetic, so that was an instant win for me lol.

Brightness wise… this thing is kinda insane. The spotlight gets extremely bright, but what surprised me more was the floodlight mode. It lights up an entire area evenly instead of just creating one intense beam. I brought it camping this weekend and it was genuinely useful for walking trails at night, setting up gear, and finding random stuff in the tent without blinding myself.

The UV light is also way more useful than I expected. At first I thought it would just be one of those gimmick features companies throw in, but I actually ended up using it quite a bit. Same with the green laser. Completely unnecessary? Maybe. Extremely fun? Absolutely.
One thing I really appreciated was how simple everything feels to use. The selector wheel/switch thing feels satisfying and intuitive right away. No digging through confusing button combinations or weird menus. It just works.
Battery life has been solid so far too. I never once felt worried about it dying on me during the camping trip. Also massive bonus points for USB-C charging because I seriously cannot deal with random proprietary cables anymore.

The overall vibe of this flashlight feels very futuristic EDC. Almost like a prop from a sci-fi movie that somehow became a real product. It feels sleek, durable, minimal, and weirdly fun to carry around.
If I had one complaint, it would probably be the price. It definitely sits in the premium category. But after actually using it for a few days, I kinda get it. The materials, brightness, feature set, and overall polish feel very high-end compared to alot of cheaper flashlights I’ve tried before.
Overall, I genuinely really like this thing. It feels less like “just a flashlight” and more like a futuristic utility gadget you actually want to carry everyday. For camping, EDC, emergency kits, tech nerd stuff, or even content creation setups, it’s honestly pretty awesome. I’ve already caught myself randomly looking for excuses to use it 😭
