I’d like to quote Menguelez ;-) “ready for the new squad!” (and I mean it.. count me in as a candidate)
I totally agree it is a great idea to go away from mainstream only.
It makes me think of the Italian Sanremo’s music festival with the “public jury” that greatly influence assignment of the main prize (it’s actually/theoretically 33%) and the “critic prize”.
Just for the sake of completeness and as a possible idea for the team. The Sanremo’s jury has actually 3 heads:
- Popular
- Critics (sector/technical experts)
- Radio (sector/commercial experts)
It’s nice to acknowledge that, even within the “experts”, there actually are 2 separate “souls” the one who care about “the art” and the one that care about how that can translate into “money”.
