Hello everybody, just received my heyup boxe projector but have some questions on the output resolution. I’m fairly new to the projector world and have some questions about keystone. Does keystone really decline the resolution? Reason why I’m asking is because I also have a Wewatch V30se projector and as far as I’m aware the hardware is identical. Going off of specification sheets, of course.
My wewatch colors are a lot more brighter and sharper.
My Heyup boxe not so much, I’ve set my boxe to the same video settings and am not able to get the same quality.
One of the differences is my Wewatch projector does not have the ability to keystone. According to them, it diminishes the quality and that was their reasoning for not adding it.
Is it possibly a software issue? Even when I reset keystone and have the boxe “stock” settings it looks washed out. Also this is all with the boxe being plugged into an outlet, I’m aware when portable it will be in eco mode.
I love the form factor of both, reason why I got the boxe was because its a better version of the Wewatch V30se. Any input? Pictures for reference
