If you live in an urban place or nearby a factory, the air may not be so good as rural areas. So there comes air purifier.
I remember when I was in New Zealand, there was a pollen season every year, and a lot of people had allergic to that. Later I discovered, it was not just a problem for Kiwis, but a global problem. I think an air purifier will do them a favor at cleaning small particulates in the air.
