Of course, everyone now wants a projector for their place;
Laser projectors are becoming incredibly powerful, inobtrusive, and beautiful furniture accessories; besides, external audio is more and more common nowadays.
Short-throw and ultra-short-throw are becoming more and more common, avoiding the hassle of having to design the room so that it can fit a projector or the pain of having shadows of the people passing by.
Projectors bring several advantages to TV screens for their scalability in size and, most of all, for the comfort of the eyes, so why isn’t every household equipped with a projector?
I’d argue the reasons are mainly 2:
- cost: native 4K projectors are still very expensive, but even good quality FullHD projectors can get quite expensive.
- screen: to get a good projection, a screen still seems to be needed
What do you think about it?
What would you like from projectors?
Do you know of any short-throw laser projector that delivers good screen quality without the need for a screen?
