Hi everyone, breif review of my go-to buds for the past few years now. Being reviewed is Version 2(Upgraded)
-App: While the manufacturer does have an app to support Bluetooth Accessories, it does not support the Zolo Liberty. This is a bit of a let down but doesn’t really bother me that much as I can see what the charge is at the top of my phone when connected.
-Gestures: There are none, just the basic press/taps, which again doesn’t really bother me, less chance of something randomly happening from sensitive gestures when grabbing the buds.
-Noise Canceling: While there isn’t any active noise cancelling built in, the way they fit in the ear cancels out just as much noise at those with active noise cancelling, if not more.
-Product Box: Zolo Liberty comes in a nicely organized box that’s a bit out of the ordinary which was pretty cool.
-Setup/Connection: The setup is basic, easy and smooth. Never had any issues with them staying connected to the devices I’ve paired them to.
-Battery/Charging: 8 hours play time and 100 hour with the case, plenty to get you through a few days, unlike a lot of the competition. Despite using a micro USB charger, they don’t take too long to fully charge. Wireless charging isn’t an option here but doesn’t really bother me.
-Case: Charging case isn’t too big or heavy, you can easily check the charge with a simple and light shake.
-Fit/Comfort: Zolo Liberty, with grip fit, fits nicely in the ear, is light and I’ve never had them fall out. They also have IPX5 Sweatproof tech for those who enjoy working out.
-Sound/Call Quality: While you can’t customize Bass, Treble and other settings, the sound quality and clearness is on par, maybe a little better, than some of the competition.
Final Thoughts: Overall 🌟⅘🌟
Now I know you may see a lot of negatives here compared to others but in my opinion, these are a bit better than some when comparing the buds themselves. Is there still room for improvement? Of course there is. The biggest pros here are overall playtime, sound quality and comfort/fit. Some may see the cons as being lack of App Support and Settings Customization.
