Google Pixel 7/7Pro

Not too long now for the Newest Pixel, Pixel 7, set to release on October 6. From what I’ve been reading, not much has changed from Pixel 6 to Pixel 7. I think if I were to try one, I’d opt for the 6a. It does seem the Pixel 7 will be a bit more affordable, however the pro version won’t be so budget friendly.

Are you excited? Thoughts?

DarkPikaJP i am also excited. The camera software is always so well optimized to get the most of its sensor. And I a charmed by the look of the pro version, lately most of the camera modules have become large and bulky.

DarkPikaJP yeah everything I’ve been seeing looks like it will be a very iterative update. I think the 6a is probably a better value proposition.

Yesterday Google released this video about the design of 7 Pro

Regarding buying P6a. I don’t know what to say about that. According to MKBHD when he tested it it wasn’t as smooth as he expected it to be. And also according to him Pixels don’t age very well unfortunately. I heard that the later updates fixed some things but I’ll think twice before picking up a 6a

Huge Google Pixel fan here! I have the 6A and absolutely LOVE it! I am SUPER stoked for the new release, however I don’t see myself upgrading just as of yet, as I’ve only had this phone just over a year after upgrading from the 5. I’m not ready to say goodbye yet lol! I do really like the new colors they have chosen tho, it’s definitely more personalized which is nice.
