seriousjoker This is a great question. It’s been a tough road for me as I’ve gone back and forth over the years. I was an early adopter of the HTC G1 (which I still have) and used Android all the way up until the iPhone 6. I had a small stint with the iPhone 3G but I was on T-Mobile at the time so I had to jailbrake it so it wasn’t really the true iPhone experience.
At some point I ended up living the 2 phone life where I carry an iPhone and an Android. Living in the US, and with everyone I know and talk to having an iPhone, it’s honestly just easy to be in the Apple ecosystem, closed as it is.
I still love and use Android for many reasons, but honestly some of those are getting less and less. Mainly I was a OnePlus user since the 3T, but I’ve really lost faith in them and not sure I’d ever buy another one and since Samsung and Google are really the only Android flagship OEM’s left, I don’t know how much longer I’ll be staying on Android. I really really don’t like Sammy or Google phones.
So, while I still use both, the day is probably coming soon where I’ll be back on iPhone full time and hopefully have an Android to play around with.
