My Tryout Review of Umidigi Urun

Body
The Watch case is made up of Aircraft-grade aluminum with 2 physical buttons on the side of right. Wrist strap is made up of Silicone and very easy to remove and installed by a pulling button each side. the screen cover material is 2.5D curved tempered glass with anti-fingerprint coating. turn the Watch to the backside you will see 4 tracking sensor gather in the middle and charging contact assembly in the flank. there are few colors of watch available, the one I having is Space grey, the whole watch looks premium and the silicone is soft, very comfortable while wearing it.
Screen Display
1.1-inch Color TFT LCD touch display with a 240 × 240-pixel resolution, and 3 level of brightness to choose.
Water resistance
Umidigi Urun is certified 5ATM water resistance, 5ATM waterproof refers to the waterproof level. That is, a 50-meter waterproof watch, a watch that can be used for swimming and general activities. Remember not to adjust the watch setting in water, that will possible let water get into the watch.
Wireless Connectivity
Umidigi Urun equipped Bluetooth 5.0. before getting connected with your phone, you need to install a supporting app from the Google PlayStore, name “Paiactive” and turn on both Bluetooth and Location. the connection is very stable and fast after first paired.
Battery
there is no info of the capacity of battery. Official claims Standby mode last 40days, daily use mode last 10days. My experience with heart rate tracking always on, is around 4 to 5 days, I’m satisfy with it. Charging time is around 2.5 hours.
Health Tracking
Heart rate Tracking
- You can choose to track heart rate metric continuously or intermittently according to your preferences. I try to compare the heart rate with my Oximeter which able to tracked heart rate also, the number both devices tracked are very close, hence I assume, the number are accurate.
SPO2 levels
Oxygen saturation is a measure of the amount of oxygen in your blood, the healthy reading should not below 95%, if below 95% you are advice to look for doctor
Blood Pressure
Umidigi Urun can Track blood pressure. this feature is very rare for a budget smartwatch. You need get your blood reading from a BP measuring equipment and key-in the reading into the paiactive app to calibrated, before you can tracking blood pressure
Track your sleep
Sleep tracking measures your sleep quality, it will show you how long was your sleep and differentiate light sleep and deep sleep moments.
Track your physical activity
Umidigi Urun comes with built-in GPS and supports 3 different positioning systems (GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou), hence it is highly precise and stable. it supports 17 sport modes and you can check out your real-time pace, route, Stride, cadence and distance in the watch.
Built-in compass
The Built-in compass shows you the direction, on my testing it is pretty accurate.
Notifications Synchronize
Incoming call / SMS
you will get notify when there is incoming call, if you don’t want to
answer it, you can reject it on the watch, but you can not answer call as
this watch doesn’t have build-in Speaker & mic. and the downside of this
part is it doesn’t display the caller ID while calling, you only see the
caller ID after you check the missed call notification. you can read SMS.
Social Media Notification
Whatapp/facebook/Instagram - you will get notify incoming call, but can’t
reject it on watch. able to read message but only display up to 90
characters. other app’s notification are available such as Twitter,
Telegram WeChat etc. you are able to on or off each single app notification in the Paiactive app
as you like.
Aspects i hope to upgrade and improve in future version.
- Minimize the screen bezel
- Built-in microphone and speaker so that can answer incoming calls
- More available watch-face, currently there are only 4 watch-face can choose.
Conclusion:
Umidigi Urun is a very good budget smartwatch, there is nothing can complain about consider the functions it has and price is only USD$38.25. is it definitely worth to have it.
