I was lucky enough to test the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL in the Porcelain color, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations, especially as a tech enthusiast!
One of the features that surprised me the most is the battery life: even with heavy use of apps, videos, camera, and social media, the device easily lasts the whole day without needing to search for a charger mid-afternoon.
It’s a huge improvement over previous models, thanks to the 5,060 mAh battery and the smart power management of the Tensor G4 chipset.
Another aspect worth mentioning is Google Gemini Advanced, the AI assistant, free for the first year. Gemini isn’t just your average voice assistant: it can predict your needs and seamlessly integrates with your daily habits.
It helped me organize appointments, respond to messages in a personalized way, and even enhanced my navigation and multitasking experience.
Gemini seems to get smarter with use, adapting to my preferences and improving overall productivity.
As for the camera, we’re at the top level: the 50 MP main sensor and Google’s software optimizations allow for incredibly detailed photos in any lighting condition.
The Night Mode is also impressive, and the new post-processing features with Gemini allow for almost professional-level image enhancement. The new “Add Mode” works well in most of the shots I took!
The Super Actua display is a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED with a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, which makes interactions smooth and responsive, perfect for both gaming and multimedia content. Additionally, the build quality of the Pixel 9 Pro XL feels solid and elegant, with a design that combines ergonomics and style.
If you’re a tech enthusiast like me, this smartphone will be the perfect companion: from advanced AI features to the impressive battery life, it’s a device designed to be cutting-edge without compromising on practicality and power
