I would say no, if what you are looking for is something gamer, the Redmagic is going to give you the result you are looking for, not only because of the processor, but also because of the possibility of having software with hardware applications focused on the gamer theme.
Now, if you ask me which cell phone is better?
I would probably say I would choose one plus. It will give you a good gaming experience, not with the same power and performance, but it will not be bad either, it will be quite good, you will have a better screen with more technology, Dolby Vision and HDR10+, in case you like to consume content multimedia. Better cameras, the Redmagic uses Samsung while the one plus sensors are Sony and it has a telephoto lens.
Same connectivity technologies even having a separate processor generation. eSIM, a battery with fewer milliamps, but excellent performance with a 100W load.
OnePlus’ customization layer seems to me to be one of the best on Android. And the design seems better to me, this is already a personal issue, but if you like discreet things more, you will agree with me.
