How often do you change smartphones?

With how often companies make smartphones now, I am wondering how often do you guys change smartphones. For me I usually use one for 3 years at least before changing.

Tingy I usually keep a phone until it starts having serious issues with battery and performance, and unless you’re a reviewer I think it’s not worth to change it before a couple years

Tingy This one’s a bit tricky for me because as a tester, I get new phones fairly often but the last time I purchased a personal phone upgrade, I used it for about 2 years. My current personal phone is an iPhone 13 Mini and I really love it so I probably won’t be changing any time soon lol.

My last change was 4 years. I used my Xiaomi redmi 5 plus for this time.

2 years for me, I guess if you are a tech reviewer, you use many phones every year.

For a while I as doing each year because I would want something different, but as phones become less exciting, I find myself wanting to wait longer before changing.

Roughly every 1-2 years depending on the newer technology thats out and how long my device lasts before the screen gets broken or it shits the bed lol
