About 6 months ago I purchased a Galaxy 4Smartwatch, and quickly realized almost all the useful, and desired features were not available to me because, while capable, the watch was literally barred from allowing certain features from being used by somebody that didn’t have an accompanying Samsung Smartphone. I eventually sold the watch as it was just a really expensive basic watch, since I had a Pixel 8 at the time. Its almost Apple-esque. Is this an issue across the board for tech? Or is it kinda centered around certain brands or products?
