We've seen folding phones, but what about folding laptops?

So, we all know foldable smartphones are here and are continuing to grow in popularity, but foldable laptops are starting to become more of a thing now. Lenovo recently updated it’s X1 Fold laptop and I think there’s one or two other companies working on the same thing.

I’ve also seen that Lenovo is working on a rollable concept laptop with a display that unrolls to increase the height of the screen.

But also, Lenovo’s dual screen laptop from CES honestly seems like it’d be a bit more useful in most situations than a folding laptop.

What do you guys think? Are you interested in a folding laptop display or is rollable more your speed? Or do you think as well that the dual screen option is better?

I personally would not buy a mobile phone that folds, because I think it is more likely to break. But nevertheless I have seen a video of a tablet that enlarges its screen twice by pulling on the sides, that is perhaps one of the options that I liked the most. On laptops I am not very partisan either since there are other options to enlarge screens, such as connecting one of a PC or viewers to enlarge it.

And to UxiaCesSantos point, there are already ways to expand screen space on a laptop so is the tradeoffs of a folding or rolling laptop display really worth it? Who knows

Heyo I personally work a lot with the computer, and I prefer to connect it to other screens, which allow you to have other documents or different screens to do a job, saving me a lot of time. I don’t know how effective it will be to use this mode on roll-up or folding laptops.

It’s a cool idea, not sure I’d get much use out of it. I think I’d see it working better in the gaming market than for casual use.
