Hey everyone, first post here—hope I’m doing this right!
I’ve been using a Google Pixel 6 Pro for almost four years now. It’s been a decent phone—rarely freezes, charges quickly, and the camera is decent (though not spectacular, in my opinion).
Before this, I always used Huawei and loved them, but I switched to the Pixel 6 Pro when Huawei stopped supporting Google apps. I ended up choosing it after researching phones for my sister, and it seemed like a good fit.
My wife had the standard Pixel 6 and now uses the Pixel 8, which she isn’t really a fan of (but to be fair, she moans about most things—haha).
Every time I think about upgrading, I check specs on GSM Arena, and most new phones only seem slightly better than what I already have.
I’m not a big fan of Apple or Samsung (mainly because of the companies themselves), but I’m open to any brand as long as it supports Google services.
As a dad of three, I mostly take photos of the kids and the occasional nature shot. I’d like a phone with the best camera possible and some good settings to play around with aperture and effects.
Any recommendations or real-life experiences would be much appreciated. Looking forward to chatting with you all!
