Unboxing: Unboxing experience great, with two separate boxes. One containing the earbuds and case itself with the ear tips (S,M,L,XL,XS)on the each side. Second box contains the charging cable, audio transmitter cable, a set of foam ear tips and a manual.
Comfort: The earbuds themselves are very comfortable and lightweight. I got no ear fatigue when wearing them for a long period of time. With various sizes of ear tips and the included foam ear tips, you will have no problem finding your perfect comfortable fit.
Battery: Battery life is pretty good, with 44 hours of playback with the charging case, and up to 11 hours of music playback with ANC off and 8 hours with ANC on. It also has quick charge feature where 10 minutes of charge will give you 3 hours of playback.
Sound Quality: Great separation( Especially with the Spatial Audio turned on) with excellent bass extension that can be greatly enhanced with the EQ setting.
ANC/Transparency: The ANC isn’t the strongest, but enough to quiet down the noise around you. Tip: try the included foam ear tips for better sound isolation. The transparency mode has a bit of a robotic sound, but nothing too crazy and you can adjust the transparency strength through the app.
App: The JBL Headphones app is the best companion app I’ve used. The app gives you so much control over your buds. You get ambient sound control, you can check the fit of your buds, control your EQ setting, Spatial Audio, get your own personal sound profile and much more.
Smart Case: A 1.5 inch touchscreen with full control over your earbuds. The case contains control over music, anc/transparency, volume,spatial sound, EQ and much more. I like that you can change the background and make it your own. The case is very responsive but not too sensitive, so no accidental taps.
Conclusion: The JBL Tour Pro 3 is without a doubt a game changer for the world of wireless earbuds. From the the Smart Case to the app and the the sound quality, getting these is a great bang for your buck.
