Hello community Heyup!
I’m Salvatore, I’m 23 years old and I’m a big fan of the Nothing world, especially its fascinating sub-brand CMF.
Today I want to share with you my experience with the CMF Watch range, comparing the CMF Watch Pro 1 with the brand new Watch Pro 2.
I’ve been using the CMF Watch Pro 1 for about two years, and I can say it was love at first sight. I still remember when the first leaks were circulating: that rectangular design with squared edges, the obsessive attention to detail in the user interface, the customized system icons with Nothing’s characteristic dot font… everything seemed designed for a simple but distinctive experience.
Another strong point? The infinite number of watch faces and a complete sports tracking system for every type of activity. I used it mainly for outdoor running, and the CMF Watch app has always been precise and intuitive.
The heart rate and blood oxygen sensors were surprisingly reliable, and I also appreciated extra features like the ability to make calls (with a keypad), the built-in calculator, and well-managed notifications.
However, in the last few days I decided it was time for a change. I chose to give the CMF Watch Pro 2 a try, driven by curiosity for the new softer lines and the interchangeable crown, but also by the desire to discover the improvements in the UI.
As soon as I turned it on, the new Watch Pro 2 impressed me with its animated watch face that represents the solar cycle during the day: from the bright orange of the day to the soft gray of the night, with fluid and engaging transitions.
The interface is even more refined, with widgets grouped by category: for example, the run tracking is paired with the weather, while the heart rate and blood oxygen detection coexist on a single screen. There is also quick access to music and activity tracking via the side button, very practical.
The Control Center and the Notifications section have also been redesigned to adapt to the new circular display, while maintaining the main functions of the first model. I was intrigued by the presence of an emergency flashlight, as well as a “light bulb” function with various colors: small details, but smart.
Now the question is:
Is the CMF Watch Pro 2 really a step forward compared to the first model or is it just an aesthetic change?
Which one do you prefer between the two? I await your opinions in the comments!
