I agree with you @Menguelez, AR/VR definitely has potential, value, and importance, but smartphones still have their place in my opinion. Look at how smartwatches haven’t replaced smartphones, or how smartphones/tablets haven’t replaced computers. These devices have complemented and transformed technology–not so much replaced. Although there may be times when the importance and relevance of tech diminishes, it’s rare that it ever gets fully replaced. That’s why newspapers, magazines, and the radio still exist.
