XGIMI has just introduced a new sub-brand called Vibe by XGIMI, created to make projectors more approachable, fun, and part of everyday life.
The first product, Vibe One, aims to be more than just a projector. It’s designed (well-designed, I might add) as a lifestyle companion that can turn any room into a cinema, a social space, or even a creative corner. It’s compact, stylish, and built for people who might be trying projection for the first time. It even doubles as a Bluetooth speaker.
Here are a few highlights:
8-color ambient light mode to set the mood
Sound by JBL that also works as a Bluetooth speaker
Google TV with licensed Netflix built-in
Auto keystone and auto focus for quick setup
Built-in 160° stand and handle so you can project from almost anywhere
Optional battery model for up to 1.2 hours of video or 4 hours of music
At €249 in Europe and $199 during pre-orders in the US, it’s clearly aimed at a younger, lifestyle-focused audience rather than traditional home theater fans.
It’s an interesting move from XGIMI, a brand usually associated with premium home projectors, and a sign that they’re serious about reaching new users who value simplicity and creativity.
And, considering this Community’s long track record with projectors, I think this product could be a perfect fit for a future Tryout (in fact, I will submit it as a Make-A-Wish once I’m done posting this thread).
