TshepisoMotlhaping High everyone, I want to get a gaming phone but I am having a bad time deciding between Redmagic 10 pro, 11 pro, Nubia Neo 2 and Tecno Pova 6 Neo. Which one do you recommend?
nikkierodrigues TshepisoMotlhaping Good question. It really depends on what kind of gaming you want to do and how much you care about performance vs cost. Here’s a breakdown of your three options plus what I think might be best for you. Just so you know I don’t own any of them, just dug into the research What the Pros & Cons Are RedMagic 10 Pro Very powerful: uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Big battery: 7,050 mAh, so good for long gaming sessions. Good cooling: has the ICE‑X cooling system + a fan, so it can handle sustained load. High refresh rate screen: 144Hz display. Downsides: quite bulky, and for some users the fan / cooling might still not fully eliminate heat under very heavy load. Under full load the 10Pro gets very hot throttling Mixed feedback on software and build quality. RedMagic 11 Pro Even more gaming focused which likely has better cooling and performance in a newer model. Probably the strongest performer out of the lot if budget and availability allow. Might be more expensive, and as a very niche gaming phone, it could be overkill depending on what games you play and for how long. Nubia Neo 2 5G Much more budget friendly but still a gaming phone. Uses a Unisoc T820 chipset. 6.72 inch of display with 120 Hz refresh rate. Has shoulder triggers which is a nice touch for FPS or competitive games. 6,000 mAh battery and 33W charging. Cons, Unisoc chip is not as beast as Snapdragon Elite, so may struggle in the most demanding games; some users report heating and performance limitations. Tecno Pova 6 Neo According to its specs, it has a MediaTek G99 Ultimate processor. 6.78 inch FHD+ display with 120 Hz refresh rate. Huge 7,000 mAh battery, which is great for long play. More affordable than the RedMagic flagships, but performance is more mid high rather than ultra. My Personal Recommendation, Based on my tech experience and what you might just need If you care most about raw performance which has a high FPS and very demanding games, go for the RedMagic 11 Pro or the 10 Pro. If you want a good gaming phone on a tighter budget, The Nubia Neo 2 is really good too and those shoulder triggers and 120Hz screen make it a very good pick. If battery plus playtime is more important than absolute top tier GPU performance, the Pova 6 Neo could be the sweet spot, which has massive battery, decent power, and good display. I hope that helps you.
EniacLoona TshepisoMotlhaping I don’t think there’s any comparison; the RedMagic is by far a better gaming phone and a better overall phone compared to the other two you’re comparing it to. I think the real question is, what’s your budget? Because the Pova is better than the Neo, and they’re both the same price. The RedMagic is in a different league; it costs more than twice as much.
