Unboxing
Unboxing Video
Inside the box contains the Heyplus Watch, the quick start guide which gives information on the set up process, warranty information and finally the charging base to charge the watch. A plug is not included inside the box which in the long term can help reduce e-waste, otherwise everything is packaged and presented nicely inside the slim box.
Set Up
Set Up Video
The set up process on an iPhone was seamless and only took a few minutes once the Hey+ app was downloaded from the App store. Pairing the watch with the iPhone requires you to scan a QR code, enable Bluetooth on the watch and following the on screen prompts, finally creating a Hey+ account to complete the set up.

Design
Design/Build
Very impressed with the design, build of the display and housing of the watch, which resembles the Apple watch series and looks very premium. The AMOLED display is crisp, very bight and responsive. The bezels are thin, black which give an illusion the display go right to the edges of the watch frame which looks great!

Fit/Comfort
Fit/Comfort Video
The watch is lightweight and feels really nice on my wrist. The strap is made from silicone which dry’s pretty quickly when wet which I found after getting caught in the rain, the watch is also IP68 which means it’s water resistant.
The Heyplus watch feels very comfortable, and has a free loop to hold the strap in place. Also, there are small clips located on the straps that slide so the straps can easily be detached from the watch face - very nice touch!

Customisation
Customisation Video
If your into customising your devices and adding your own person touch then this smart watch is for you, the sheer amount of watch faces available is incredible! There are Dynamic faces, Time-lapse faces, AI Mood faces which follow your mood changes based on PPG signal (cardiac synchronous variations in blood volume that arise from heartbeats) and your activity data, it’s very clever stuff! You can also create watch faces from your photos or videos.
Notifications are customisable from the Hey+ app, phone calls and messages, but not all apps that are download on your phone will be supported. YouTube, Facebook, What’s app, Gmail, Snapchat, Zoom and Twitter are some of the main apps supported for notifications.

Health Features
Health Features Video
The Heyplus watch has great array of health features available, whether your into fitness or you would like to monitor heart rate, sleep and blood oxygen levels these are all possible using the Heyplus smart watch.
Various workouts such as indoor/outdoor walking/running, cycling, free training, Rowing and Elliptical can be tracked and recorded on the watch and Hey+ app.

Battery Life
Battery Life Video
The battery life has been great in comparison to the Apple watch which I was previously using, which typically needed charging every 2-2.5 days in addition to turning down the screen brightness and always on display. I did not charge the Heyplus watch right out of the box which had 49% battery, I tend to get a lot of notifications, having the screen brightness set at 60%, the display always on and using the watch for work, so to reach 20% after 5 full days of use is a great achievement.

Overall Experience
I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised using this Heyplus Watch, the display is fantastic! Really bright sharp and responsive, the build quality is impressive. It’s feature rich, has a large amount of customisation options and health features which enable you to stay on top of your health. The battery life is really impressive!
However…..
Only Problem Video
Over the last 3 days I have experienced the watch randomly turning off and switching back on to the Hey+ logo and keeps on looping, which is only fixed by 2-3 hard resets. This has soured my experience a little, but I do understand that in a small number of case, electrical devices can suffer software or hardware defects/failures if this does continue to occur I will contact support to replace the watch under the 12 month warranty.
Suggestions:
There are 2 main areas I would personally like to see improve
- The Watch Strap - although the strap feels comfortable on my wrist, I would like a slightly thicker silicone strap, as the current strap feels a little flimsy that If I pull hard enough tightening the strap, it may split/rip.
- More app support with notifications - would be very nice to have all the apps I have on my iPhone supported with notifications on the Heyplus watch.
Price Range:
I would be willing to pay up to $160 for this Heyplus Watch, based on the build quality, features, great battery life and overall package.
