Famous Leaker Ice Universe(@UniverseIce) just Twitted about Samsung’s next Galaxy Z FOLD 4. Saying it has a weight of 263kg and showed us some of the rendering pictures.

No, i i am expecting their prices to lower so i can get one 😅

I don’t have any problem handling the big screen smartphones but they are not confortabile for the size of my pockets. A Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 or HUAWEI P50 Pocket alternative would be great at a decent price.

fkossyvas But the nature of foldable is making up a device to reach higher price. Since it has larger sized screen, “innovative structure”, and bigger battery, the price has to goes up. By exactly how much? That’s for the brands themselves to decide how much profit they want from each sales.

SprintingWorm I agree with you that the products are serving as a business opportunity for more money to earn but not with the details: the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has the same screen size as my current smartphone (Redmi Note 9S) but an inferior battery (Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 = 3300 mAh vs Redmi Note 9S= 5020 mAh).

I would like to spend some extra money for the innovative structure (foldable), so that my current phones occupies half the space it is occupying now in my pocket but only up to a point 🤨

If you are talking about a big foldabl with only 3300mAh Battery, it will be terrible. I think they have 120 hz refreshing rate and snapdragon 888, a 3300mAh battery will never be enough.

SprintingWorm yes, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a small foldable released last year (27 August 2021) and indeed has a poor battery life. That’s why i said i would like my phone configuration (or better: with an oled screen) but foldable too 😉

I tried the Z Fold 3 for a few days when it launched last year and absolutely loved it but it’s just way too expensive. I found the whole concept to be fun and novel, and somewhat useful, but not nearly useful enough in my daily workflow to justify the cost. If I’m ever lucky enough to have one, I know I’d enjoy it but until then, I’m left waiting wishfully lol.
