I own a small projector (a philips from some 15 years ago) which I still use when camping with my family and friends. Few years ago I also used to use it to watch movies on the ceiling of our bedroom as we do not want to have a TV set there but sometimes chilling and whatching movies is just too tempting. In the last few years I haven’t cause setting it up with the computer is too time demanding and using an iPad is far more confortable.
For me, the limits of my projector were mostly the power of the LED lightening (especially using battery) and the strenght of the audio which were quite low. Also, at the time, there was no opportunity to share video wirelessy; Ideally I’d love to be able to stream content wirelessy from all major platforms (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney, Apple TV+, …) but also from my iPad.
In my experience, within this price range, image quality is not an issue but HD would be great.
