SprintingWorm If I haven’t try Mac, I would definitely prefer windows. But MacOS today, is just so satisfying. However, I am still cautious when buying apple product, to save myself some money from the Apple tax.
fkossyvas Currently i prefer Windows on desktops. I had been a user of Mac OSX from version 1 (10.0) to Tiger (10.4) but i didn’t like where Apple was heading. I had an iPad 2 Air too but i didn’t like the software limitations of the Apple’s walled garden.
Jado I’ve used Windows and macOS in addition to a little bit of Linux, but I personally prefer Apple’s ecosystem and macOS; I don’t own an iPad so I’ve never messed much with iPadOS. I currently use a 14 inch M1 Pro MacBook Pro, but I grew up on good ole Windows XP.
Heyo Jado I enjoy Apple’s ecosystem too. I’m honestly just used to it and it’s really all my wife wants to use so it’s just easier for us both to be in it together lol. How’s the M1 pro? I really want one lol.
kennethakintola I prefer MacOS but I use Windows on my desktop, I have an iPad and i like the additional features Apple added to iPadOS recently.
Jado Heyo It’s really good! When I first got it I opened all 70 apps at once on it and it took only about a minute or so.
Heyo Jado dang that’s amazing haha. I used to do that in the Apple store to try out the new computers. I’d just open up every app on it and see how long it took lol.
Matthias I use Windows because I like to game. Also I don’t like the Apple Ecosystem. Sometimes I use a Linux system just for fun.
Heyo Matthias I’m definitely more of a casual gamer so I just put Windows on my Mac and that let’s play all the games I want. Plus, I have a PlayStation 5 for the bigger stuff. I just got a Chromebook actually and have been experimenting with Linux. Or at least the distro that’s on ChromeOS lol.
Matthias Heyo a chromebook is something I would try out, but it is nothing I would spent money on, but that’s just because I didn’t need one. This would be a thing for university and stuff like that. But for I didn’t need it in private and I would not be allowed to use it for work.
DarkPikaJP Heyo sameee, was a gift. Like y’all have said, it’s ok for little things but still doesn’t hold up against windows/Mac.
Heyo DarkPikaJP Yeah I agree. I’m a writer and I originally got one as a secondary, more portable device than my 16-inch MacBook Pro. Long story short, I got one and I liken it to my iPad. The hardware is good and it works for about 90% of the stuff I need to do, but still can’t replace my Mac.
