I suppose most of our heyupers love Android phones. So, we managed to collect some info from the internet about Android 13 for you guys to prepare the upcoming update.

I am personally using an Oneplus 9 Pro and waiting for the update. The most noticible update for me on Android 12 was the green dot on the top right corner when camera and mic is on.

Anyways, throw any thoughts to us.

Je devrai normalement la recevoir sur mon Redmi Note 10 et en nouveautés je sais pas trop, on verra bien 😊 mais c’est vrai que le point vert pour voir que la caméra est utilisé, c’est très utile 👍

I have some friends that have been beta testing Android 13 and they say that’s it’s a welcome update, but nothing mind-blowing lol.

That’s completely different from what my friends who’ve beta tested OxygenOS 13 for OnePlus have said. Essentially, they say it’s literally Color OS and is not really a great update. One of my friends even went back to using his 9 Pro specifically to go back to Android 12 software.

DarkPikaJP mine definitely won’t. It had come with Android 9 and has been updated to 11. No further updates have been planed as far as I know.

I ma very unsure if there has been many improvements since android 11.

Matthias yikes, sucks they partially do that on purpose forcing costly upgrades.

DarkPikaJP at least they have told it in their update strategy, and for the sake of a 3 year warranty I am totally okay with it. In Germany you get a 2 year warranty most of the time. except for apple products, they only offer 1 year.

Sadly after some updates the general behaviour has changed. And this would be different from one device to the other. I don’t really like the Huwei UI, but there’s one thing Huawei has made quite perfectly. The UI feels the same from one defice to the other whole they have had the same android Version. Ther has only been differences when the device has a fingerprint/physical home Button.
