Network Apps

Ever since Samsung decided to hide network settings, I’ve used Network Apps to either toggle between 3g/4g/5g but also to enable band selection. Unfortunately, everytime I find an app that works, Samsung decides to block the band selection portion. Living far from towers makes Band Selection crucial, without it my phone bounces between the 3 most congested towers possible 😅

Wait, network apps? I don’t live in the US, even during my visit, I didn’t use it. So I don’t know.

But I believe most of the carriers have their own app don’t they?

SprintingWorm Carriers do have their own apps but none that allow network customization, as mentioned above. Some phones may have the toggle option still, just not Samsung.

DarkPikaJP maybe there is a secret menu for this, like an engineer menu, or a mmi menu.

Matthias yea there are “service” codes out there but Samsung has stopped supporting those too.
