The Nothing ear(1) have a snug comfortable fit in my ears and truthfully I don’t even feel them in my ears they stay still even when moving especially when I wear them in the gym which is when I knew in my heart I fell deeply in love with them.
I also think the Active Noise Cancelling is top tier it has a feature to set it to light or maximum ANC and there’s the in ear detection feature which if you’re watching a video or listening to music and you decide to take one of the buds out it pauses everything then resumes when you put back in your earbud which I would switch to off if like me you plan on wearing them while you workout.
When making phone calls or being on a zoom meeting on my laptop others could hear me clearly and I can hear them without any cracking or lagging problems.
The only cons I see with these is you can only set up the triple taps and press/hold I feel it doesn’t offer a lot of options in which you can do with the earbuds which is a huge downer in my opinion, the app is pretty basic which I felt should’ve had a lot more to offer like other earbud brands, another con I find is with the latency when I’m listening to music or watching a video the sound breaks up a little bit but it’s no bother I still enjoy listening with them.
The Nothing Ear(1)'s sound is premium I played around with the other sound profiles (Balanced, More Treble, More Bass, Voice) and they all sound extraordinary, I can still hear my surroundings and talk with people while listening to my music which is a plus; my favorite profile has to be the more treble option because I’m a person who loves bass but I also like hearing the vocals and instruments a lot more also it seems to play out clearer than the other profiles in my opinion.
Overall the Nothing earbuds are phenomenal from the packaging it comes in to the charging case, the insane comfort (especially when wearing for a long period of time), the out of this world sound quality, transparent design and the charging case that I can carry in my pocket on the go, for the price of $100 I highly recommend these they’re affordable with a high quality sound and design.
