SprintingWorm haha yeah no 120hz refresh rate which is annoying but honestly not a deal breaker for me personally and when you’re looking at phones in this size (my primary reason for getting it), there just aren’t a lot of options lol.

And yes! I’m absolutely up for doing more reviews. I currently have one I’m the works for the Nothing ear(1) (courtesy of the tryout program!) as well as the OnePlus Buds Pro and OnePlus 10 Pro.

I’m also considering some for some other tech I have laying around. Does anyone have any review requests for things they’d like me to cover? I’m open to do nearly anything, as long as I can afford it lol.

DarkPikaJP haha thank you! The BB8 was a gift a few years ago from my wife! She loves me a lot!

Honestly, a lot of camera preference is subjective but for me personally, the two phones I can compare right now are the 13 Mini and the OnePlus 10 Pro.

What I’ve found is that the iPhone 13 Mini camera is more consistent and even down right fantastic at times and the OnePlus 10 Pro is more versatile and in the right conditions can take a better photo. When I need more options or have time to set up the shot properly, I prefer the 10 Pro. But my every day camera is the 13 Mini mainly for its speed, consistency, and ease of use.

Heyo very well done review. I enjoyed reading it and I am glad to not want a small phone, because I don’t won’t to buy a iPhone, and you really make me believing there is no other small phone with a similar quality and pricing in the android universe.

Matthias haha thank you! I appreciate you reading it! And yes unfortunately, at least from what I can find, there just isn’t as good a phone at this size in the Android space. The Zenfone 9 comes closest but it’s half an inch larger.

Heyo I had a Oneplus 9 Pro, I liked the design and the Hasselblad logo. But I just realize the sensor and the lenses came from Sony. Then the only reason I choose it was the design.

SprintingWorm Oh nice! I had a 9 Pro as well and was really happy with it! You’re right though that the lenses came from Sony as nearly every smartphone lens does these days. The design was cool but (hot take), I kinda like the 10 Pro design a bit better, mainly because it feels a bit easier to hold for me and the frosted glass back is much smoother than the glossy back. Still a solid phone though!

Heyo Well the best phone I have ever used was my Huawei P30. it was just so good at the time, I don’t need worry about anything when I switched to it from a broken iPhone x. After I came to China, I then wanted a 5G phone, since every one else had one. The Huawei Mate 40 at the time looked great to me, but it was so expensive even in China.(and I think it was banned elsewhere) Then I choose to buy Oneplus, which was a renowned brand recommended by a lot of my friends. And I found 9 Pro was one best suited to my sight, since every smartphone has almost similar spec nowadays.

But, it was quite a disappointment. Yes, it worked fined until today, but it was just not as satisfying as my previous phone switches.

SprintingWorm Oh man yeah I’ve always wanted a Huawei phone. Everything I’ve heard about them just raves about how great the hardware is. It’s sad that they were banned but maybe one day I’ll be able to get one.

Heyo Huawei is still available here in Europe, but Huawei isn’t allowed to be sold with Google services. The HUAWEI store isn’t as comfortable ass the play store as it mixes some other APK sources if the app isn’t available in their store.

Heyo I think it’s not just about the 9 pro, but all phones out there today, it’s hot, the battery goes off quickly. Having higher refreshing rate is good, but I was just afraid of using it because it would cost so much more energy.

There isn’t anything new at the stage when I switched my phone, but my phone switches were always amazing moments in the past, which is no longer now.

Heyo yes, I wouldn’t get one without Google Services. I wouldn’t be pleased with the Huawei appstore. If needed Honor would be a option, they used to use the hardware from the Huawei phones and the devices have the Google play services.
