Heyo Well the best phone I have ever used was my Huawei P30. it was just so good at the time, I don’t need worry about anything when I switched to it from a broken iPhone x. After I came to China, I then wanted a 5G phone, since every one else had one. The Huawei Mate 40 at the time looked great to me, but it was so expensive even in China.(and I think it was banned elsewhere) Then I choose to buy Oneplus, which was a renowned brand recommended by a lot of my friends. And I found 9 Pro was one best suited to my sight, since every smartphone has almost similar spec nowadays.

But, it was quite a disappointment. Yes, it worked fined until today, but it was just not as satisfying as my previous phone switches.

SprintingWorm Oh man yeah I’ve always wanted a Huawei phone. Everything I’ve heard about them just raves about how great the hardware is. It’s sad that they were banned but maybe one day I’ll be able to get one.

Heyo Huawei is still available here in Europe, but Huawei isn’t allowed to be sold with Google services. The HUAWEI store isn’t as comfortable ass the play store as it mixes some other APK sources if the app isn’t available in their store.

Heyo I think it’s not just about the 9 pro, but all phones out there today, it’s hot, the battery goes off quickly. Having higher refreshing rate is good, but I was just afraid of using it because it would cost so much more energy.

There isn’t anything new at the stage when I switched my phone, but my phone switches were always amazing moments in the past, which is no longer now.

Matthias Oh that’s good to know that they’re available in Europe but yeah, i’ts really hard to justify getting one, at least in my opinion, without access to Google Services.

Heyo yes, I wouldn’t get one without Google Services. I wouldn’t be pleased with the Huawei appstore. If needed Honor would be a option, they used to use the hardware from the Huawei phones and the devices have the Google play services.

SprintingWorm oh yea I agree with you very much on that. Phones today just aren’t exciting anymore. I used to really love switching and getting a new phone. Not anymore.

One thing i’m always thinking about… people always say: iOS vs. Android…

[My opinion]
I’m a electronic lover & i like iPhones, because iOS is a great operating system, but the downside is lack of customization and Android are ahead in customizing. Anyway Android security is not good compare to iOS.

[iOS Jailbreak & Apple]
I always wondering why Apple did not want to co-operate with iOS Jailbreak developers to create a better iOS with more secure… Which can beat Android in seconds. Earlier iOS Jailbreak developer contacted Apple to co-operate and making better customization for iOS + keeping the high end security in software, but Apple declined their offer.

[My experience]
I’m a iOS user since 2009 & started to learn about Jailbreaking in same year. So i’ve been Jailbreaking iOS since 2009. Every iPhone i own… just not enough… Jailbreak must have! So i’m a hardcore iOS Jailbreak tester as well. I own more then 20 iDevices & couple of old Android phones for testing. Mostly to play with software & hardware. I also started to repair all phone models them since 2013 at everyday work. Also i have comparing with old Android + it’s software with iOS. Long time Ago Android OS is really bad in security & customization compared to Jailbroken iOS, but i don’t have experience with flagship & latest Android OS for my own usage.. Have only seen videos, but still cannot win Jailbroken iOS.
I tested with Android root & custom roms. It seems to be quite close to iOS Jailbreak, but still far from customization. iOS Jailbreak can do lots of things which Android people scratch their head… (my friends, my old customers, peoples) etc..

[My review]
For my own review comparing to iOS “Jailbreak” vs. Android = iOS Jailbreak wins instantly and why?
- Because iOS freedom + best security is the best Operating system with customization in this world from my everyday experience.
- Because Apple didn’t want to co-operate Jailbreak developers & create a best Operating system.
I only recommend Jailbreaking for advanced iOS enthusiast who have at least studied a bit of Jailbreaking or have done Jailbreaking before. Its possible that Non-enthusiast / normal users will mess up something by installing something wrong and don’t know how to fix the issues.

JCLEE I hear you man! I used to jailbreak my iPhones all the time, mainly because I was on T-Mobile and literally had to in order for it to work lol. I don’t really do it anymore because with a family and such I just don’t have that much time anymore, nor do I want to spend money on a second device lol.
