Hi everyone!
I’m going to share a somewhat quick review of a family member’s phone that I get to play with occasionally. The varient being reviewed is 2020, Non 5G, 128gb/4gb.
-Charging/Battery, Motos are known for their long lasting batteries and this device shows that. While at 10w charging, it does take a while to charge up but has the capability to last a couple days, one day if super heavy use. No wireless charging, as to be expected with a lower prices phone.
-Processor, Snapdragon 665, yes there are better processors out there but this gets the job done when being used for a daily, mid use, user.
-Android Version/Updates, Comes with 10, upgradable to 11, 12 is unfortunately unknown and unlikely. Motorola hasn’t been the greatest when it comes to software support/updates.
-Stylus, Now it’s hard to beat Samsung’s stylus but the moto stylus has some neat features such as quick note taking and coloring book(on some varients) which can be accessed from a quick menu just as pulling out the stylus.
-Size/Screen, at 6.4 inches, it’s pretty on par with most the competition. No complaints.
-Display quality, with HD+ (2300 × 1080) IPS, it’s not quite up to par of an AMOLED display. It can be a bit harder to see when in direct sunlight. Touch/Swipe isn’t always registered when trying to answer calls. AOD can be a bit too sensitive at times, causing pages to just randomly open, such as weather.
-Camera/Picture Quality, Front: 16MP Rear: 48MP. While it only has 2 cameras, it still takes pretty solid pictures for the price.
-Storage/Ram, at 128/4, the ram is a bit low but we are talking budget friendly here. SD slot is available for those that need some extra external storage.
-Sound/Call Quality, pretty on par with similar budget friendly devices. It also still has a headphone jack for those who still like to use wired headphones.

Final Thoughts: This varient would get 5 stars if the ram was a bit more, the display was a bit better and there was better software support. The Moto G Stylus 2020 has it’s pros and cons, just like the Samsung s20 FE 5G. The device is good for a lighter user, daily driver, for those on a tight budget. However with it being the 2020 version, you may choose to opt for the newer model of Moto G Stylus.
