James Webb vs Hubble Telescope

I’m not super knowledgeable in Space technology but I do find is absolutely facinating. The James Webb telescope is supposedly the successor to the legendary Hubble telescope that has shown us amazing pictures of space in the past. I gotta say, seeing these side by side really shows us how much technology has advanced in our lifetime.

It looks like PS1 graphics compared to PS5! Can’t wait to see more crazy pictures of deep space the James Webb telescope can show us.

Tingy I always thought that aliens have been with us for a long time. Sometimes technologies appear that are more typical of intelligent beings than of humans

Tingy I think that artistically speaking the old photo has something more to it, while thinking about the improvement of sensors, lens and processing amazes me

Tingy It has come a long way for sure. I am drawn a bit more to the photo on the left, its more like statue art almost and the photo on the left feels like cloudy abstract.

The thing is, some JW pics are so good they even look fake to me. (I know they are not.. that’s not what I’m saying) just that they look synthetic. But your PS1 vs PS5 still stands strong .. even more! :-D
