Handheld Vacuum vs Robot Vacuum?

Well, it ultimately depends on your requirements. If you seldom get time to clean your house and if your house has very few items scattered on the floor, then a robot vacuum cleaner makes sense. But do note that you will have to spend time initially for it to map your house. Once done, you can schedule the time when you are not home or before you wake up.

However, a cordless stick vacuum cleaner can be ideal for an extended house and want a versatile machine that can clean furniture, carpets, and hardwood floors. You will spend less time dusting and cleaning. Instead, you can do it all with the cordless vacuum cleaner. Plus, you have to worry less about dust hiding in little corners or below coffee tables or end tables.

EvaLi I prefer Robot Vacuum is more comfortable to use. Its works alone and doesn’t need you to accompany around the house

EvaLi i like both in their own way. The robot for doing the cleaning all by himself and the handheld for all the places the robot wont reach and if someone has dropped something.

EvaLi A robot vacuum would be perfect if it could cleen some spots that are hard to reach but still relevant, so I think you’ll always need to accompany it with something else to clean well

Robot vacuum all the way, but I also own a Karcher vacuum, just for the hard to clean sports and spiderwebs here and there :)

EvaLi Well honestly, for our situation, we ended up using both lol. The robot vacuum is great for about 85% percent of the stuff, but when we moved into a larger house it had trouble navigating around everything, and we do find that we still have to use the stick vacuum about once a month to keep up with everything. We have a German Shepherd dog that sheds quite a lot and we have a young child that leaves toys around the floor every day so that’s difficult as well.

Maybe one day we’ll find a better system!

EvaLi I think they are complementary, the vacuum robots help to keep the floors clean but every now and then a pass of handled vacuum is necessary, as the robots still cannot achieve a good cleaning of the corners, carpets and areas around furniture, tables, chairs. etc as well as still having a long way to go when it comes to washing floors.
