Design/Display

The Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version has a narrow edged Aluminum frame which feels premium and not too big or heavy in my hands with a weight of 246 grams. The Z60 Ultra has a fantastic 6.8 inch AMOLED display, 400PPI High Pixel Density with a peak brightness of 1500 Nits, a Resolution of 2480×1116, 120Hz Refresh rate which all equals up to a fantastic looking display.

The Selfie camera is hidden under the display as well as the optical finger print reader which can be used to unlock the phone, in conjunction with Face Unlock. Along the right side of the phone is the volume button, a textured red power button which I personally like and dedicated sliding shortcut button which takes you directly to the camera.

The bottom houses the USB C port, the Dual Sim card slot and the stereo speaker. The top of the phone has a Infrared port and a speaker hidden between the bezel and display. 5/5

The powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version processor ensures that not only does the phone feel snappy, delivers great performance and is efficient on the battery. I really like Nubia’s MyOS 14.0 (Android 14) which is clean offers multiple customisation options and not filled with what I call unnecessary bloat wear. 5/5

Camera’s

The Z60 Ultra continues the flagship trend of a triple camera set, a 50MP 18mm Starry Main Camera, a 50MP 35mm Main Lens and a 64MP 85mm Portrait Prime. The inclusion of AI add features such as AI Magic Eraser which allows things to be removed from imagines, AI Sky which allows you to change the look and feel and AI blur which you can blur the background in pictures without losing detail in the main picture.

There are plenty of modes to take photos or shot videos such as Street, Portrait, Milky Way Night, Video, Photo, Pro which allows numerous customisations to ISO, color temperature, Auto Focus (AF), Centered-Weight and so much more. The Camera-Family mode offers even more options and AI features such as Starry Sky, Moon, Clone, Slow Motion, Time-lapse, ID photo and so much more.

There are some great options to record video using the rear cameras, 8K@30fps, 4K@30/60/120fps and 1080p@30/60fps. The 12MP under display selfie camera records 1080p@30fps. 5/5

Gaming

I do play a few mobile games when I have some downtime, Asphalt Legends Unite plays really well on the Z60 Ultra. The touch controls feel responsive, the visuals, colours, graphics look sharp and crisp on the 6.8-inch AMOLED display. Swiping twice from right to left on the top right corner of the display brings up a gaming menu, this gives additional options and control to improve performance on the CPU/GPU, screen record, display FPS and so much more! 5/5

Battery Life

My daily use of sending/receiving emails, browsing the internet, using social media, mobile gaming and occasionally taking pictures, the 6000mAh battery easily saw me through the day. Wireless charging is not included but with the included 80W fast charger 30 minutes would give the phone 80%+ charge so I didn’t need to worry about having to charge the phone. 5/5

Overall thoughts?

I’ve really enjoyed using the Z60 Ultra Leading Version thus far, the performance has been really good! The phone is smooth in operation, has a big, bright and colorful display which is really nice to use, watch content and play games. The phone looks and feels premium, and I really like the black design with some red finishes around the rear camera lens and power button.

The camera quality is fantastic! The inclusion of AI and the many different modes to choose means whether your taking a quick snap or looking for a more professional picture, gives you more options to be even more creative. The quality of videos I recoded looked really good especially in 4K and the option of even 8K. I found that the file sizes could be quite large depending on the length of the video, so storage size is something to bear in mind

The inclusion of a large 6000mAh battery has been a joy, I’ve been able to use the phone without the worry of the battery dying out before the end of the day, the 80W fast charging is an added bonus. Overall, I’ve been very pleased with the Nubia Z60 Ultra Leading Version, all the benefits of a flagship phone starting at just £649.00. 5/5

Franco_glz Thank you for your kind words Franco, glad you liked my review. I would of uploaded it sooner but I’ve just had some personal stuff going on but thanks again.

The cell phone looks very good, I would like to see a little more of the cameras in different scenarios and especially the video, it is what bothers me the most having so much competition, if it could be at the level of Huawei, Vivo or Xioami, it would be the best choice for recording multimedia content. Very good review

      La envidia me consume

Pero en cuanto a la opinión

Es un poco corta y pequeña la rewiu

Pero lo importante está así que bien 😸

Kiroo Thank you, I’m still finding out some of the cool features of the camera’s so many options 😁
