Beyond the aesthetic aspect and build quality, another important factor is how it performs under demanding tasks. A personal recommendation is to use benchmarks.

Benchmark: These are sets of tests designed to evaluate hardware performance. There are benchmarks for each specific component, such as:

  • CINEBENCH: Evaluates CPU performance with complex 3D rendering.

  • 3DMARK: Similar but for the GPU, measuring performance in 3D applications and games.

  • AIDA64 Extreme (paid software): Measures RAM performance and speed.

  • CrystalDiskMark (paid software): Tests the read and write speeds of storage drives.

  • PCMark 10 (paid software): Evaluates overall system performance.

If you want to perform these tests yourself, you can use programs like BLENDER or AUTOCAD, which have high rendering modes that can take time and consume significant PC resources.

Another common method is to measure game performance at maximum quality settings with demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077.

To see how the hardware usage behaves and the temperatures of the components during the tests, performance monitors can be used. The most commonly used one is MSI Afterburner.

For video editing, you can use SONY VEGAS, Adobe Premiere, or DaVinci Resolver, which is a free video editor.

You can also look up performance comparisons of the processor before receiving it to get an idea of how it performs compared to other processors, or see how it performs on its own. Here are some videos of the processor’s performance 👇

    Yo agregaría alguna prueba para saber cómo se comportaría si ejecuta múltiples aplicaciones pesadas al mismo tiempo, como un editor de video, un navegador con varias pestañas abiertas y una herramienta de diseño 3D, para medir cómo se comporta el sistema en multitareas.

        Una buena forma de probar la potencia del Minisforum Atonman G7 sería con tareas exigentes como edición de video 4K o programas de modelado 3D para ver cómo maneja procesos pesados. También sería interesante ver su rendimiento en juegos que requieren mucha GPU, y hacer tests de benchmarks para medir su capacidad en comparación con otros mini PCs de gama alta. Así se puede tener una idea clara de hasta dónde puede llegar este equipo.

            Franco_glz Podríamos hacer un caso hipotético, como “estoy trabajando en edición de video mientras hago un dibujo 3D y por ellos me toca tener muchas pestañas del navegador abierto para información, ideas, tutoriales y eso, y cuando termine renderizo tanto el vídeo como la imagen 3D, mientras que remderiza me dan ganas de jugar” y así medimos su rendimiento mientras va pasando este caso.
