    RedMagic 9S Pro Review - 3 Stars

    The RedMagic 9S Pro is an impressive gaming phone with some great features, but it falls short in a few areas that make it a balanced choice rather than an outstanding one.

    Starting with the positives, the 9S Pro boasts a stunning display with a high refresh rate, ideal for gaming and smooth visuals. Its Snapdragon processor handles most games and apps effortlessly, and the built-in cooling system is a nice addition, helping to reduce heat during intensive gaming sessions. The phone also has a solid battery life, which can handle a long day of gaming and regular use.

    However, there are a few drawbacks. The camera quality isn’t as sharp or versatile as other phones in this price range, which is disappointing if you’re looking for an all-around device. Additionally, while the gaming features are top-notch, the phone’s UI feels a bit clunky and unpolished in certain areas, making it less intuitive for non-gaming tasks.

    In summary, the RedMagic 9S Pro is a strong option for dedicated mobile gamers but may not be the best choice for users looking for a more versatile phone experience. It excels in gaming performance but doesn’t quite live up to the hype in terms of camera quality and overall UI polish.

      A solid sports watch with excellent battery life. As it doesn’t have a microphone or speaker, it lacks certain features that could define it as a true smart watch, unable to text, make or receive calls and voice search are the biggest drawbacks.

      It’s light, has excellent screen definition with the ability to change faces and vibrates for notifications.

      Accurate tracking of outdoor activities with an in depth report after you stop the exercise. A weekly summary of general activity is a nice touch too.

      I did have a problem when swimming, it simply froze and had to be reset. Having said that there was now water ingress so it it waterproof.

      Comfortable for general day long wear, but not continuous 24 hours or more due to the materials making your skin sweat.

      Measuring heart rate and oxygen saturation is a real bonus in tracking work rate and improvements but as it comes with stock activities and these cannot be expanded, it’s let down a little here.

      Initial set up was a little tricky with a samsung phone as the supporting app has to be downloaded as a pdk app. Combined with the watch automatically defaulting to Chinese this took longer than it should have ro achieve.
